Geeze, when's that thing gonna be done?

Ok you doogs will appreciate this. Maybe your humans will be grossed out, but you doogs and lots of you kits will definitely appreciate this. So make your humans leave the room.

This is my own personal turkey carcass. I turned it upside down so all you doogs and kits can see the good parts. You know, the butt and stuff like that. I mean this thing is practically fresh! It's still got the tied up spices inside it. The wings are still there!

Anyways, this is my own personal carcass, although I will be forced to share it with my cats. Mojo prefers to point out that THEY are sharing it with ME, since they were here at the nuthouse first. Except for little $nack. But I ain't messing with her let me tell you.

Anyways, the woman threw the carcass in a big pot and is boiling all of the meat off of it. Now I know from last year that this means A LOT of meat. Although I was a little miffed when I saw her take some meat off of it and give it to the rescue cats, Benny and the Jets. But that's another story.

Anyways, it's been in the pot of water for like forever! I mean how long does it take for meat to fall off a carcass? I could rip that stuff off the carcass myself in like minutes! Just lemmie at it! But no! I have to sit here smelling it and putting up with the simmering for like forever. I mean I'm practically having another birthday here waiting for my soup and turkey meat. Geeze!
I was like standing there hopping around, changing feet. I figured I'd get me some turkey pretty fast. I finally gave up and took the couch. Mojo has taken up permanent residence right in front of the stove. We want our stuff!
Like what the Fershtunk is the matter with The Woman? Just throw the thing down woman! Me and the cats will take care of that little bugger! Pick it clean! But nope!

"Tosca, you cannot have cooked bones," she blurted.

"Tosca, good turkey things come to those who wait," she blathered.

I mean me and Mojo are like losing our MINDs here waiting and waiting. We keep telling her It's Done. But nope!

Tosca, the meat has to fall off the bones, she whined.
Tosca, then I have to make sure there are no little bones, she droned.

And besides, you can't have it all at once, Tosca, she snorted.

I'm like laying here rolling my eyes here!

I'll let you know how it all works out.

Poor Tosca! Waiting is very, very hard. But I think the reward will be worth it.
